How to get Graz?

                                         


By plane:
  Graz has its own international airport, which is
  located approx. 15 kilometres from the city
  centre, and which in addition to regular flights
  to Vienna also offers flights to almost all
  big German cities. Besides that, there are a
  number of seasonal flights. For further

Airport Shuttle ServiceGetting to the City is easy and inexpensive.There is a public bus service leaving right in front of the passenger terminal between the airport and the city centre of Graz. The Bus will take you first to Jakominiplatz (City Centre)and then further to Hauptbahnhof (main station). The costs are € 1.90  one way.

Also, the train station is located only 300 meters from the passenger terminal. Trains leave to Graz Hauptbahnhof (main station) roughly every hour (fare: €1.90).

By car:
If you decide to fly to Vienna – Schwechat and to take a rental car, then please take the southern motorway A2 towards Graz. The distance is about 200 km.If you want to drive directly to the venue, Congress Graz, take the exit “Graz Ost” and turn into “Konrad von Hötzendorfstrasse” street. Follow this road towards the north until you are directed into the city centre to the Congress / Casino next to Graz Hauptplatz.The address is Sparkassenplatz 1, 8010 Graz.

Visitors of Congress Graz are offered special conditions at the APCOA car park in Andreas-Hofer-Platz square (do not enter using your credit card!): 20 % reduction on the normal tariff from
2:00 am – 5:30 pm Subsequent tickets are available at Congress Graz.
Night time tariff: € 5.00, 5:30 pm – 2:00 am. Parking chips are available at the night service counter or from the ticket manager of the respective event.


By train:
If you decide to fly into Vienna – Schwechat and take the
train to Graz, then please take the shuttle bus service to
Wien Dörfelstrasse (Meidling Bahnhof), which operates
every 20 minutes, the stop of which is directly outside the
exit of Vienna Airport. The price for the one way is € 6.00. Between Meidling Bahnhof station and Graz Hauptbahnhof station, trains operate every hour (from 6:03 am to 9:03 pm). Every other train includes one change of trains. The price for the one-way economy-class ticket is approx € 35.00.
